Divider loses border after Quick view
Hi,
TC 10.00 x64, Win10 20H2 x64, dark mode.
The divider between the two file panels has borders on both sides. Now if I am in the right file panel, activate Quick view in the left file panel and then deactivate it, the border is lost:
Normal - https://postimg.cc/TK32542R
During Quick view - https://postimg.cc/5XrJY9k3
After deactivating Quick view - https://postimg.cc/BLTfVTZY
Expected - before and after Quick view should look exactly the same.
TIA
Roman

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Not confirmed, tried with a fresh ini and with my normal ini in dark mode. Maybe it's caused by a plugin?

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Christian,
I can reproduce it using the following steps:
- run TC using a fresh.ini
- press Enter to choose default button bar icons
- with left panel active, press Ctrl-T so it has two tabs
- switch to right panel with Tab
- activate and deactivate Quick view by pressing Ctrl-Q twice
Dark mode is not necessary. It seems there need to be at least two tabs in the left panel, and Quick view needs to be in the left panel (activated from the right panel).

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Sorry cannot reproduce even with fresh ini.
TC 10.00 x64, Win10 21H1 x64, light mode
Note: With a fresh ini the vertical toolbar is visible too, but still has always visible border lines.

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
I can confirm this now with two or more tabs - actually it also happen in the right panel, but here it is seen in the right side not at the divider.
Another thing:
In Windows 7 (aero theme) when I have folder tabs open (not quickview) there is a 1 pixel wide (light) line added to the outside of the right side of the file panel border.
In Windows 10 (standard theme) the right side dark border of the panels dissapears when I open a folder tab - only a a very faint border is visible.
To me it seems that the missing border is caused by the folder tabs, not by the quick view - it is just more visible that the border is missing in quick view.

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
OK, I can reproduce it now too.
It's only with the TC-x64 version.
In light mode the left border just turns from black to gray just by adding a second tab, but still stays this way after a quick view toggle.
In dark mode the border is visible even after adding a second tab, but gets invisible after a quick view toggle.

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
I can reproduce it now by adding at least one tab. So far I couldn't find the reason, the line reappears when I sligtly resize the window.

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Border is no longer lost, tested using TC10.50b2 64bit and Windows 11.
But why does the 64bit version have thick borders when quick view is enabled and why does the 32bit version have white scroll bars? Is that normal? (Tested using Dark mode)

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Great, thanks for your tests!
I will address the colors too in beta 3, but I can only show black scrollbars in recent (a few years old or newer) versions of Windows 10 and 11.

Re: Divider loses border after Quick view
Tested OK using TC10.50b3 and Windows 11.
32bit now also has dark scroll bars. In Dark mode, borders of Quick view mode look OK now for 32bit and 64bit. And 32bit and 64bit look the same.
