Hi,
I found out years ago that it was vastly simpler and reliable to use TC for browsing files on my Linux system using the Secure FTP plugin.
However I've never been able to get thumbnails to show (in thumbnail view). I checked the plugin and main TC settings but cannot see anything.
I don't want to use Samba as I find it a pain in the you know what.
Any ideas ?
cheers

Re: Show thumbnails with SFTP plugin ?
Hi,
the SFTP plugin doesn't support thumbnails at all.
I think this function would only make sense if thumbnails could be created on server-side, i.e. imagemagick should be installed and accessible/executable for the SFTP user. The plugin could run the IM convert command when accessing the folder and build a thumbnail cache, i.e. in ~/.cache/thumbnails/_tc/sftpplug
But you should post a feature request in viewtopic.php?f=6&t=19994&start=1260
Maybe there will be someone to develop this feature
