TC10.50b1: Lister not displaying cover image

Nice! However, it does not work for covers that are directly embedded into (some) mp3 files.

So far all files I tried work, so your file must be somehow different. Either the image is not jpg or png, or some other unexpected difference.

Could you please send me the first 256 kBytes of a track which doesn't work to support at ghisler dot com? You can use files - split file to create it, just enter the size 256k manually. Thanks!

It doesn't work for large images (possibly larger than 128/256 KB). Such problems have been already reported for Lister Media Viewer:

Yes please! Unfortunately I haven't received anything yet, so I will postpone it to beta 3 or later.

That's a different problem: The Windows mp3 splitter fails to open the file for playback because of the large image. It does work when using LAV filters.

But you can really use the mp3 linked in that topic for tests. Lister doesn't show the cover in both beta1 and beta2 builds.

Got it, thanks! I was able to reproduce and fix the problem. Btw, the test file plays fine here with LAV filters, so it must be a bug in the included Windows mp3 splitter that it can't handle such large images...

For me, TC 10.50b3 now displays the cover image of the mp3 files that caused problems in b2. Thx.
