Limit copy speed via F5 (or F6) and then F2 permanently

Post by *iammike »

Hi,

I now (when I am copying BIG files to my NAS) press F5, and select F2 to queue but lower the speed of the file I am copying I have to switch as my mad :wink: to the queue and activate "Speed Limit"

Is there a way to activate / de-activate this speed limit permanently???

That switching as mad to the queue sometimes doesn't work, because TC copies so fast :lol:

TiA

Edit: And is it also possible to Limit the Speed when Syncing Dirs??? I see you can also select PAUSE when Syncing!! So a F2 in Sync Dirs would be handy

You can open Background Transfer Manager beforehand (menu Commands) and set the speed limit beforehand or set it to paused so you have time to set the speed limit. If you opened Background Transfer Manager in the menu, it will remain open until you close it. You can keep it open and adjust speed limit and paused state whenever you like. Does that help?

Yes, that's possible. See TC help, section 4.b:

Code: Select all

SpeedLimitEnabled=0
1: Enable speed limit immediately when opening background transfer manager
