When you press Ctrl-D you get the hot list of your directory favourites. The hot keys (not the default first letter and indicated with an & in the configuration) are shown with an underline as expected. But when you press on the * or double click on the blue bar to get the hot list, the same hot list is shown without the underlined hot keys. The hot keys can be used but you have to know them by heart. I wonder why the same code (displaying the directory favourites) gives a different output in different occasions.
I use windows 10, 64 bits 21H2.
Hot keys in directory favourites not always shown.

Re: Hot keys in directory favourites not always shown.
It's not a bug, it's a (Windows) feature! Hotkeys are only underlined when you use the keyboard, not the mouse.

This Windows behavior has been discussed a couple of times on this forum alone. It can be changed in Windows' accessibility settings, so if you want consistent behavior, search for past threads on where to find it in Windows Control Panel (still don't know if it's in the Settings app).
