you might think this was silly, but when coming to the forum it always catches my eye and it somehow bothers me reading the username "white" colored in green.
Is there a reason for this? Can I change it? Or can't it be changed to color white instead?

It indicates that I am a global moderator. As described by the Legend on the main page of the forum.
Forum main page wrote:Legend: Administrators, Global moderators
The word Administrators is red. Global moderators is green.
Global moderators can set their default group to Global moderators which causes them to be identified as global moderator and their name to become green. I have done so, the other global moderators have not done so (yet?).
I'm glad that you're a global moderator and I can see how you want to show that role, but since you're the only one of the four members of the group, could you please swim with the stream and change it back to not-green?
It's just that "white" in green is the only green thing on the page and that triggers my brain (because it's green but says "white")
PS: don't take this too seriously. If you want to keep it this way just ignore my input.

I value your input and want a discussion about this.
If the global moderators don't do their name in green, then the main page says there are no global moderators. I think having global moderators visible on the main page can help build trust in the forum and discourage people from misusing the forum.
That's why I am in favor for global moderators to be identifiable as such.
