solved [TC 10.52rc1] CM_EXIT 4 does not work

Total Commander 10.52 RC1 is available now! CM_EXIT now supports the following parameters:
0 or no parameter: Just exit.
Or sum of:
1: Exit and restart Total Commander
2: Exit and restart, and switch between 32-bit and 64-bit versions (note: 2 and 3 do the same thing)
4: Save directories, tabs and panels (brief, full etc.) even when disabled in settings

4 can be either added to 1 or 2 for restarting, or used for itself to just save the settings.

CM_EXIT 4 does not work - CM_EXIT 5 and CM_EXIT 6 does worked as described though.

It's about the sum of the flags. 1 + 4 or 2 + 4. Only with 4 should not work.
The description for 4 does not specify a restart, only a save.

Yes - it works the same as the 64bit version - at first I got the impression that CM_EXIT 4 would also do a restart in addition to saving directories etc. - but I realize that is what CM_EXIT 5 is for.

I would still like an option to restart in current directories, but without saving anything - see: https://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?t=77694

You can use cm_ConfigSaveSettings - so as far as I can see cm_Exit 4 does the same as cm_ConfigSaveSettings.cm_Exit

Yes, CM_EXIT 4 should do the same thing as cm_ConfigSaveSettings,cm_Exit as you wrote in your last post.
