- Enable Synchronous folder changing (cm_SyncChangeDir)
- Try to enter a folder that doesn't exist on the other side (it fails and you hear a warning sound)
- Disable Synchronous folder changing or try again to enter the folder (it succeeds and Synchronous folder changing is disabled)
- Go back to the previous folder if you changed to a different folder
- Enable Synchronous folder changing again (cm_SyncChangeDir)
- Try to enter the same folder again that doesn't exist on the other side (it succeeds and Synchronous folder changing is disabled without warning)

Re: [TC10.52rc4] cm_SyncChangeDir: warning out of sync folder change not reset when cm_SyncChangeDir is diabled
This is intentional. TC remembers the last folder for which it showed a warning, and does not show a warning the next time you try to open it.

It isn't remembered when you synchronously change to a folder and then go back to the parent folder. Why would it be remembered when you disable Synchronous folder changing, navigate to lots of folders, after a long time return to the folder, enable Synchronous folder changing and synchronize with a different folder than before?

You already got the warning when trying to enter that folder in sync mode. So when you later try again to enter the exact same folder without trying any other folders, you will not get a warning again.

Which might be an earlier sync mode. Doesn't make sense. The folder that got a warning is quickly forgotten, except when cm_SyncChangeDir gets disabled. See this video (sound on!)ghisler(Author) wrote: 2022-10-19, 07:02 UTC You already got the warning when trying to enter that folder in sync mode.
In my opinion the folder that received a warning should be forgotten when cm_SyncChangeDir is disabled and only be remembered for a short time. It makes no sense to assume that the user after several hours or even days still remembers exactly which folder he last tried to enter when he last used cm_SyncChangeDir.

I think I can forget the folder when cm_SyncChangeDir gets enabled, this is easier because the function can get disabled in many ways.

Tested OK using TC 10.52rc5 32-bit and 64-bit.HISTORY.TXT wrote: 20.10.22 Fixed: cm_SyncChangeDir, forget the last directory which couldn't be entered because it didn't exist on the other side when re-activating the function (32/64)
