Is there an OpenOffice writer lister plugin

Yes, it works fine, but it is really slow - since what it does (or so it seems) is to load the entire OpenOffice program in the lister. Not exactly productive if what one wants is just a quick view of the contents of a file.
Is it possible to do something along the lines of the default html lister, which simply strips the text of all tags (except links), and show it? Since the contents resides in the file contents.xml in the odt (or sxw in the old format) files, which one can view in lister, it seems to be an easy task to remove all the tags, but I'm no programmer, so I can't do it, I fear. But if anyone takes the challenge, I'd be eternally grateful
