Process directory entry with Lister plugin

I'm working on a lister plugin that can also process directory entries.

However, 'Viewing' a directory always brings up the internal lister with used space summary.

Is there a detection string or another way to override this default behavior with a lister plugin?

The HTMLview plugin with no detection string
gets all requests and decides that it does something for dir entries.
Try it the same way.
