solved [TC 11.00b7] Partly unresponsive context menu in Lister 64bit

I have reported this elsewhere, but that topic was mainly about context meneu in Lister with Irfanview, so I repeat it here, since it is probably unrelated:


This is about 64bit LIster in text mode.

if I after having selected some text open the context menu (right-click, Shift+F10 or context menu button), then I have to click twice on an item before its is carried out. If I use the keyboard to go to the item and press Enter (or click on it), the command is executed immediately. No such problem in 32bit TC 11.00b7 or in 64bit TC 11.00b6.

Testet with Windows 7 and 10.

EDIT: It is only if I open the context menu wiith a right-click that it happens - not wghen I ude Shift+F10 or the Context menu button on the keyboard.

I can confirm there is a similar issue on TC 11.00b7 64bit with Win10
Case 1
Press F3 to open a file with Lister, select some characters,
click the right mouse button, and then click "Copy as text", the context menu will not disappear immediately, you have to click again to make the context menu disappear.

Case 2
Press F3 to open a file with Lister, select some characters,
press the right mouse button, and then need to press "ESC" twice to cancel the context menu.

Case 3 (OK)
Press F3 to open a file with Lister, select some characters,
press Shift+F10, and then click "Copy as text", the context menu will disappear immediately.

Case 4 (OK)
Press F3 to open a file with Lister, select some characters,
press Shift+F10, and then press "ESC", the context menu will disappear immediately

BTW, 32-bit TC 11.00b7 and 64-bit TC 11.00b6 don't have this problem.

Not confirmed on Windows 11.

• F3 Lister on a TXT file
• Press 1 for "1 Text only" or press 3 for "3 Hex"
• select some characters
• right-click in the open lister window = context menu appears -> with thick frame in dark mode!
  TC 11.00b7 x86 has an inconspicuous frame in dark mode.
• Copy as text (Ctrl+C)
• ESC, ESC -> closes the lister window

Yes.
I can confirm this behavior in TC 11.00b7 x64.
(Now that I have figured out what was meant).
I think you have also tested this in Windows 11.

Correct. I have edited my first post:

I can add that if I (after opening the context menu with right-click) first click on "Copy as text" and then on "Copy as Hex characters" then it is Hex characters that ens up in the clipboard - the last of the two clicks is carried out.

I don't even have to press the right mouse button, just open context menu with mouse - then it requires two presses on Escape to close it.

Confirmed, I will fix it. I only tried with keyboard after your initial report.
What actually happens is that the context menu is opened TWICE by mistake.
