Search algorithm in TC 11.00 beta 10
I found that the file search sequence changed in TC 11.00 beta 10. Previously, it searches all directories in 1 level and then searches all directories in 2 level and goes on. However, in the latest beta 10, it searches all levels in the 1st directory and then searches all levels in 2nd directory and goes on. This will take a longer time to search the result. Can it be changed back to the previous search sequence? Or allow user to select the search sequence.

This was never the case.Previously, it searches all directories in 1 level and then searches all directories in 2 level and goes on.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Notice that if you are using 'Everything' the search sequence seems to be different whether you have 'Everything' enabled or not

I tried "search" and "search in separate process", without turn on Everything. They seem using different searching sequence.

Re: Search algorithm in TC 11.00 beta 10
I cannot reproduce this. I tried with TC 10.52 and TC 11.00 beta 10:
1. Go to c:\Program Files
2. Open search (Alt+F7)
3. Make sure that "Everything" is unchecked
4. Start the search
In both programs, we can observe that the directory of one program is searched with all its subdirectories, then the directory of the next program is searched with all its subdirectories, and so on.
Can you reproduce that? Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you meant?
