command line - answer after command run

Post by *hubig »

How to show an answer after a command from the command line was executed, when the task was not fully finished.
I don't know how is the right name of the "ANSWER" I mean - it is about a sort of report, information about an error, when given command can't be executed exaclty as it was written in the command line.
Example is "attrib" comand given to a file or files which is/are marked as hidden and system (in the same time - both attributes).
When I put a command "attrib *.jpg -h" outwardly/apparently nothing happens in the Total Commander.
But when I do the same in the Windows 10 cmd window (in a terminal window), I get additional information after my command was executed: "Not resetting system file".
How to show the same answer in the Total Commander?

Try executing the command using Shift+Enter. Is that what you want?
