Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
I'm not sure if it is a TC Bug or Windows or...
TC 10.52, Windows 11
Sometimes the right Mouse Button inside the File Liste stops to work correctly. Long click for Context Menu didnt't work. File marking most times only marks the first and the last File of the selection (sometime some more but never all files you want to mark). In other Parts of Total Commander and Windows the Right Mouse Button works as expected. New start of Total Commander didn't help. New Start of Windows helps.

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
It's probably a right click menu extension misbehaving for certain file types only.
To correct it, please try the following:
1. Get the free tool ShellExView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shexview.html
2. Start it. If using Total Commander 32-bit, you need to get the 32-bit
version, otherwise the 64-bit version of ShellExView.
3. Sort the shell extensions by type
4. Once the problem starts happening, disable all context menu shell
extensions one by one (you can hide/keep those belonging to Windows,
they are usually OK).
5. Continue until the problem goes away
6. Now you can re-enable the extensions which don't cause any problems

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
Ok, it seems that I have found it. I deinstelled all not Microsoft Programms with an entry Context Menu as Type. This disnt help. Than I start disabeling Entries from Microsoft. By switching the Extension with no Extension Name, Description "Clientseitige Cachebenutzeroberfläche", Product Name "Betriebssystem Microsoft Windows" i can switch the behavior. I have no Idea what this does.

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
"Clientseitige Cachebenutzeroberfläche" is used for offline files.
Maybe it was just a registry error? Sometimes it helps to disable and re-enable the entry.

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
Problem is back...now disabling "Clientseitige Cachebenutzeroberfläche" didn't help. Restart of Windows didn't help. Installation of TC 11 beta didn't help. Any Idea?
After opening the Drive-Letter Context Menu in TC it works for some time but not long.

Have your mouse driver been updated recently? - maybe it is buggy.

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
Since no one has ever reported problems with Microsoft shell extensions like "Clientseitige Cachebenutzeroberfläche", my guess is that you missed the actual culprit when trying find the problematic shell extension.

Re: Context Menu and Marking sometimes didn't work
@petermad Razer Mouse, but no special Mouse driver (Razer Synapse) installed.
@ghisler I'm not sure anymore if the Problem is realy the ""Clientseitige Cachebenutzeroberfläche". Perhaps a right klick on anythink other than the File Window solved the problem for short Time/the next trigger for the error. Will using ShellExView I possible used the Right Mouse Button.
