Can't Create Link On Desktop with Amazon Fire tablet
On my Fire HD 10+ I'm trying to create a link to desktop for a folder to act as a shortcut to that folder. I get an error saying "Default Launcher Too Old". The tablet is new, 11th generation so I can't understand why that could be too old. Is there a workaround for this?

It means that the launcher doesn't support the necessary functions to create Desktop shortcuts.
There are two ways to create shortcuts:
1. From within Total Commander, via context menu
2. Via long click on the desktop - widgets
Maybe the other of the two methods works on your tablet?
