IRDA on SIMpad SL4 running CE.NET 4.1

Hi there!

Has anyone tried the IrDA function (aka beaming or sending/receiving via Infrared) in TC2.0 on the SIMpad SL4 running CE.NET 4.1?

When I trying sending any files, it starts the sending dialog but cannot find any client even when a working pda is facing the SL4.

When I try to start receiving, it fails, saying that the port is in use.

What could be wrong?

Receiving will not work if the operating system itself has an integrated (and activated) IrDA receive function. Normally it's not necessary to use TC's receive function in this case.

For sending: What device is the target? The first generation of PocketPCs used a Microsoft-specific protocol which is NOT compatible with the OBEX standard used by Total Commander/CE.
