1. On one side, let's open the list of wfx-plugins (cm_OpenNetwork), on the other side - a regular folder (or archive) with the same list of names.
2. After executing cm_SyncChangeDir and entering the folder with the same name, synchronous change doesn't occur. This only works with subdirectories of wfx-plugins.
If one panel has a folder with the entire name of an archive from the other panel, then in the inactive panel the directory doesn't change.
SyncChangeDirMode doesn't work for pairs of folder-archive, folder-wfx and archive-wfx

Sorry, there are currently no plans to support cm_SyncChangeDir in network neighborhood.

Give the reasons, please. I repeat that this works in the subfolders of wfx plugins. It shouldn't be the case that it doesn't work only at the root.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2023-10-19, 08:46 UTC no plans to support cm_SyncChangeDir in network neighborhood.
Also, you didn't write anything about archives, which is no less important.
My old script synchronously changes paths, regardless of the directory type. Your implementation is half-hearted.

There is no reason to add it. Why would you have directories named like plugins or shares? It makes no sense at all.

On the left is cm_OpenNetwork, on the right is %COMMANDER_PATH%\Plugins\wfx\.ghisler(Author) wrote: 2023-10-30, 08:20 UTC Why would you have directories named like plugins or shares?
I open the plugin folder of the same name on the right to match certain options, i.e. to put the settings in order.
