Exclamation mark in duplicates/singles

In Synchronize Directories, for duplicates and singles buttons an exclamation mark is displayed if button is not pressed when opening Synchronize Directories to warn that files existing on both sides are hidden.

Let's consider the following case:
1) I sync dirs with duplicates selected and singles not selected, then exit sync dirs

2) I start sync dirs again, and I naturally see the exclamation mark because singles is not selected. Then I select a a previously saved setting that selects also singles. The exclamation mark stays visible, because the button is not pressed by using a mouse or keyboard, though it is selected by the saved setting.

After case 2, exclamation mark is displayed without purpose, as both duplicates and singles are selected.
Is it possible to make a duplicates/singles change caused by saved setting behave like 'pressing a button'?
