(There are inconsistencies with regards to where the focus will be when one of these shortcut keys is pressed. I will create a bug report for that.)
Open Synchronize directories
Make sure all Show buttons are enabled
Press Alt+C (Compare)
Press Tab to bring focus somewhere other than the result panel
Pressing Ctrl+Shift+L brings the focus to the results panel, but pressing Ctrl+Shift+R does not.
There seem to be more scenarios where the focus is not placed on the results panel when using one of the shortcuts for the Show buttons. I suggest to always focus the results panel when using any of these keyboard shortcuts.
Pressing Ctrl+Shift+L brings the focus to the results panel, but pressing Ctrl+Shift+R does not.
NOT confirmed. After Ctrl+Shift+L or Ctrl+Shift+R, the focus may not be visible because there is no current item or it may be out of view, but it will become visible when you press cursor up or down.
When you try Ctrl+Shift+R, make sure you followed the mentioned steps from the top (most importantly the step: Make sure all Show buttons are enabled).
Did you maybe Tab to the directional button group box? As described in a different post, Ctrl+Shift+L and Ctrl+Shift+R don't change the focus in this case.
If you leave the focus on one of the checkboxes, both Ctrl+Shift+L and Ctrl+Shift+R put it on the results. If you don't see it, press cursor up or down.
After further testing, I have found out when the issue occurs. It seems that when a line in the results panel, which would normally receive focus when the panel gains focus, is hidden by pressing the keyboard shortcut, the focus remains unchanged instead of being placed on the results panel.

Tested OK using TC 11.03rc1 32-bit and 64-bit.
