minimize cancels copy process
tc 11.02 x64
copy files in copy manager, during copying the conflict window appears (in my case it was over 259 char name conflict). In this situation if I click minimize tc window, copying is canceled and copy manager window is closed. I did not cancel anything, it automatically closes after tc is minimized.

Re: minimize cancels copy process
I can reproduce it and will check if there is any solution. It probably cannot be prevented: The dialog gets cancelled to prevent a deadlock situation.

Re: minimize cancels copy process
Unfortunately I could not find the reason for this behaviour. It seems to be caused somewhere in the Lazarus library. Therefore I will prevent the user from minimizing Total Commander when a confirmation dialog is up. It doesn't help when the user minimized all windows, but it's better than nothing.

Re: minimize cancels copy process
I could not fully fix this problem:
1. Total Commander 11.03 RC1 will refuse to be minimized via minimize button while the dialog is up.
2. It will still minimize and abort the operation when the user minimizes ALL programs via click on the bottom right corner of the window

Re: minimize cancels copy process
In RC4 I finally found a solution for this problem! It is now again possible to minimize Total Commander while the background transfer manager shows an overwrite confirmation dialog, or a dialog which warns about long file names. It will be restored when Total Commander gets restored too.
Please test it! Note: This only affected the 64-bit version.

Re: minimize cancels copy process
Can someone test this, please? Here are the instructions:
1. Open Total Commander 64-bit (the 32-bit version isn't affected)
2. Open an empty folder in the right panel (or create one)
3. Copy a single file from the left to the right panel
4. Select the same file again in the left panel
5. Press F5 and then F2 (or click on the "F2 Background" button)
-> The background transfer manager and an overwrite confirmation dialog appear.
6. In Total Commander title bar, click on the minimize button
-> Total Commander and the overwrite confirmation dialog disappear (minimized)
7. Click on the Total Commander icon in the task bar, and then on the Total Commander preview window to restore them
-> In TC 11.02 and older, the overwrite confirmation has been cancelled
-> In TC 11.03RC4, the overwrite confirmation dialog reappears
