Hi,
I cannot get Ctrl+PageDown to work so that it opens an archive in the same pane. I thought this was the default behaviour but in a new machine it's taking me to a run command instead. How can I restore this? I can't find any cusyom shortcuts that might override it.
Thanks for any advice.
Paul.

What kind of archive are you trying to open? Did you try a different type of archive?

Re: Ctrl+PageDown not working
Zip, DOCX, XLSX, SDLPLUGIN. These are all things I have done for years on my work machine and my personal laptop, but on this new laptop it's not working and just sets the active field in the run dialogue at the bottom on the screen.
Re: Ctrl+PageDown not working
If TC's command line gets activated the key sent is not Ctrl+PgDn (but something different like CursorRight).
Laptops have countless different keyboard layouts and double or even triple assignments, and quite often the keyboard can be switched to another mode (especially for the F keys). Inspect the keyboard very closely to make absolutely sure that you do press Ctrl+PgDn. Try this keyboard tester site to make it easier and to see what you type: https://keyboardtester.co/keyboard-tester

Re: Ctrl+PageDown not working
Thank you, that was a great tip. I need to use ctrl+fn+downarrow as the Pagedown isn't a separate key. I didn't even notice that!
Much appreciated.

Re: Ctrl+PageDown not working
Some laptops have an option to lock FN keys. See your laptop's keyboard for such a key (or documentation).
One option you could see is 'FN lock' or similar.
