Hi and welcome.
TC 8.01 was released 2012. Time of Win 8.
I guess, only very few have tested TC 8.01 on Win11.
If you want really to know if this still works, take yourself a PC with Win11 and run TC 8.01 on it.
There should be no reason it doesn't work. Mostly, at least.
But a application like TC always use and relate on the possibilities of the most current OS.
So an older TC can't know newer OS versions possibilities and behavior, and a newer TC on older OS may miss possibilities only found on newer OS.
So I would recommend to use a more recent TC version on nowadays OS'es.
You can just use the
newest TC-Version.

You can download Total Commander 11.03 now from our download page!
The
update is still free for all registered users - please check our update instructions.
Do you need support on how to switch to the newest TC version?

First post, so apologies if I missed an obvious area to look for this answer.
I am looking for any information on previous versions of TC that are compatible with Windows 11 (enterprise version, should that matter).
Specifically, we run TC 8.01 (64 bit) and I need to know if it will still work with our upcoming Windows 11 deployment. I do realize that it is quite dated

, but I still need to find out whether it would function; and if so, are there any known problems with such a combo?
Thanks in advance.
