(solved: server problem) FTP download fails if filename has 3 consecutive periods

Steps to reproduce

1) Confirm that you are able to download binary files from your FTP server with TC
2) Add a file to the FTP server that contains three consecutive dots or periods in the name.

Example filename1...txt

3) Try to download that file with TC 11.0.3

Thanks everyone, that was my mistake. Indeed, the problem is with the FTP server application, GuildFTPD.

You suggest the filename: filename1...txt - but you ask us to make sure that we can download binary files. .txt files are usually not binary.

Anyway - if I make a binary file with the name filename1...txt I can download as both binary and text file.
The same if I make a text file with 3 dots - I can still download it as both text and binary file.

It probably depends on the FTP server you try to download from. Try the same with a different server.
