I've changed drives and upgraded to Win10. I've reinstalled TC, but am missing the data I have when I bulk rename files.
I've copied over wincmd file, but is that data kept somewhere else?
TIA

"bulk rename files"-templates are stored on default in the wincmd.INI text file.
But maybe you had redirected them?
wincmd.ini
[RenameTemplates]
RedirectSection=wincmd-RenameTemplates.ini

Maybe you copied the wrong wincmd.ini file - did you use to have your wincmd.ini file in TC's program folder, or in %APPDATA%\Ghisler or somewhere else - and does your new installation use wincmd.ini from the same installation as your old did? You can run: cd %COMMANDER_INI% from TC's command line to go to the wincmd.ini your current TC is using (or use the main menu's "Help" -> "About Total Commander" to see the location).I've copied over wincmd file

Re: Where are my rename data kept
Thank you gents, I copied the file over 3 times, whilst fighting/installing all my programs again.
Do not ask me how, but the fourth time - you 2 forcing me to look again - was the charm. Looked through the wincmd.ini from the old drive and the info was there, but I thought I was looking at the file on the new win10 drive.
Man this is making me crazy.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
