See TC11: What is the meaning of numbers in the Frequently Used Directories?

The small green arrow as overlay icon means the folder is currently displayed in the file panel.

Since TC 11.00 there is a whole new section for configuring the history: "Configuration" -> "Options..." -> "History"
Or right-click the history and choose "Configure history"

The history now shows a combination of last visited directories and most frequently used directories. You can just start typing the name of the directory to jump to it or filter by it. After using it for a while, the most commonly used directories will be in that list, so it will be much faster to return to an often used directory. Also the most frequently used directories is combined for both panels, so it's easier to return to a directory in one panel which you opened in the other panel.
