Search Within Listbox

Post by *Alonzo Mosley »

There's probably a really obvious solution and I'm not seeing it.

I did a search of my hard drive for a keyword. Got lots of hits. Fed to Listbox.

Now I'd like to search WITHIN that list.

I'm sure I can come up with some Boolean logic and do it the first time, but is there a way to do what I'm describing above.

Dan: It's in several pieces on my floor.

Use Quick search or Quick filter via Ctrl+S and start typing the other search term.

In the listbox created from the first search, Select All; then you can Search again within the selected items. The search box "Only search in selected directories/files" should be checked. The result will be items that match both the first search AND the second search.

If you Feed to Listbox from within the second search, the first listbox will be lost. If you close the second search without feeding to listbox, you can search again within the first listbox.
