Install Explorer plug-in crashes TC hard

I recently did a format/reinstall of Windows XP on my machine. Since then, trying to use the Install Explorer with Total Commander causes Total Commander to crash. The file I'm trying to unpack with Install Explorer is one I have successfully unpacked prior to the reinstall. Any ideas?
