Delete through Queue

Post by *mohammadsj »

When copying files, I find the F2 Queue feature very useful. I suggest adding a similar Queue option for deleting folders.

Currently, when deleting folders, TC asks for confirmation and then begins traversing the folder, which takes time.

With a Queue option, the delete command could go to the queue window/thread and scan folders in separate thread, without making me wait for counting the files.

Please consider this if it makes sense.

Thank you.

This has been suggested before, but it would be a very dangerous feature. For example, someone could add some files to the queue for copying to various locations, and then add the same files for deletion. Now if copying fails for any reason, e.g. the target becomes unavailable, the user skips some files etc, they would still remain in the queue for deletion. The user would lose the originals and not have a copy either.
