Not all Maps are shown

Post by *lievenfrans »

When I navigate to a map or submap which I know from the MS browser that it contains "many" maps or files, and I then navigate within Commander to the same map I see only a few maps, submaps, files, not all of them...
Why is the rest missing?

To clarify for other readers: map and submap is Dutch for folder and subfolder.

Hard to tell with so little info. Perhaps they are hidden or system folders/files and you have not enabled the option in TC to show them?

Which files/folders are missing?
Is this the first time you use Total Commander?
Did it work before?

Hello , thanks for attention.
First user? No I have been using TC since 2007, have even stille a licence, from the old version. (Ver 7.02)
This problem never occurred before, only recently, (Win 11?). Both in the old version as now in the new version.
I include a screenshot. On the left picture of the MS Browser showing 39 maps, + 1 file.
On the richt the TC screen showing only 4 maps...
How do I send You the printscreen. I have it ready but see no button to add it to my answer.

I went into thje options of TC, and added "System files" to show.
And then? Miracle! Threst is shown again. Everything is hown now.
But I never classified this maps as "system" maps or files.. How come?
And how do I send You a printscreen? I do not fing the button ro add it to my answer...

Sorry, dfor the misspelling above.
Adding "system"files in the options did the job.

New screen with all maps/files shown, after setting "system" file/maps on in TC options.

Thanks all of You for the attention and help.
Remains for me the question why and when all these earlier "not shown" maps/files became at some time suddenly "system'-fils/maps...
I think I'll by a new licence now for this new TC.
Thanks. kr.

If you have any TC license, there is no need to buy a new one.
It is valid for all PCs you own and any TC version.

Everything 1.5.0.1391a (x64), Everything Toolbar 1.5.2.0, Listary Pro 6.3.2.88

Thanks Horst.
Indeed my old TC-licence (2007) works on the newest TC!
