[OT] Which archive softwares is better? WinRAR or 7-Zip?

Well it depends on who you ask...
I personally prefer WinRAR in most situations because its more common and has faster compression than 7-Zip.

...but somewhere it is very important to save 100-200 Kb on every 1-1.5 Mb... For example, where copying to diskette is processed. Than 7z may show you all its power!

However achiver which will compressed ALL posibly files most compact and fast is impossible

So try and choose!
