I have added a link to your site in the TC Wiki:
http://www.ghisler.ch/wiki/index.php/PowerPro
Maybe you wanna transfer your scripts there as your site is very slow unfortunately.

What free host service would you suggest? As I undestand, there are people from different countries in this forum. May be, they can load my page more quickly?icfu wrote:I have added a link to your site in the TC Wiki:

In fact, there are many common links and files with Russian version of the same page. It would cause some problems to upload all this to another location.
But, if other people agree with you, I would transfer my site where it is appropriate for most of the users.
Thank for the link in the Wiki.

You can put all stuff directly in the Wiki, see the AutoHotkey section as an example:What free host service would you suggest?
http://www.ghisler.ch/wiki/index.php/AutoHotkey
In the end you decide if you want to present the scripts on your personal homepage or in a central point like the TC Wiki. As long as you are the only one contributing PowerPro scripts it doesn't really matter where they are located but imagine ten people contributing scripts on 10 different homepages, this would not be very comfortable.
Imho it would be best to export all scripts regarding Total Commander to the Wiki and link the section on your homepage while keeping the rest of the scripts that have no relation to TC where they are now.

PowerPro is a power user tool, capable of building toolbars, menus, keyboard shortcuts, sticky notes etc etc fairly easily. And it has a script language as well not as powerful as AHK, but enough for most common tasks. So it is an all in one swiss knife, with its advantages and compromises. Plus you need a plane pilot license to be able to use the options window
AHK on the contrary focuses only on the script side and does this exceptionally well. If one has PowerPro and is used to it, there is no big reason to switch to AHK, but AHK is much more powerful IMHO. But im biased as a blinded AHK fan

Here is the new URL:
http://ppro.totalcmd.net
Please feel that this is faster than the old one:
http://pprotcmd.narod.ru/English/Scripts/Scripts.html
However, at least one user (from Germany) has already visited the "slow" site, and used some scripts. I will update both pages equally, so you could use any of them. Welcome!

anybody causes your data loss, and perhaps you would know nothing about it! Above is the simplest example. PowerPro power
is enough to do almost everything with your computer.
to help me converting my pages to the Wiki style.

Not "important" but "dangerous after smart modification". For ex., just replacingIf one thinks that his site is so "important" that it needs to be "protected" one should not post it in the Wiki but leave it where it is
Code: Select all
file.copy(OneFile, AnotherFile)
Code: Select all
file.move(OneFile, AnotherFile)

Only problem is to find the very "someone"...You can use HTML in the Wiki. If the content is worth it, someone will for sure take the time to convert it to Wiki style so you won't have much work to do
Nobody except the users can evaluate the worth of this stuff. So, it would be nice if all of you tell me whether my script are useful or not. If not, there is nothing to talk about. If yes, perhaps "someone" would be a volunteerIf the content is worth it

Everything happens for the first time some day...Vandalism is unlikely due to the registration
