Hi,

Well, I personally do only install the TC addons I really need, so for me such a package is not suitable.

But for those who are interested it would be really useful if you'd provide some information about the contents of this 15 meg package before users download that big black box with no clue what's actually in it.

Just a thought...
:)

Warning. Before install, backup your wcx_ftp.ini file in system folder because install will replace it - new 0 bytes file....

Sorry I forget change this
If you want you can backup also wincmd.ini

Well, it just look VERY similar to TC PowerPack (http://totalcmd.pl/download/app/new/Total_Commander_PowerPack_1.6):
- structure of folders,
- Polish menu (even signed " TC PowerPack 1.4 Menu"),
- the same skin Futurist,
- very similar searches templates,
- very similar set of plugins.

I don't know if there is any sense to create another pack especially based so much on the existing one.

Of course, you, me and many other users here are able to install plugins which they like and need.
But not everyone is aware of existing so many plugins and other possibilities (custom menus, user-defined toolbars, coloured files, etc.).
I was suprised how many people put their positive comments about TCPowerPack on the forum and in download section. I met people who used TC v 4.x just only for copy, move and delete function. Thanks to TCPowerPack they've seen new functions, new possibilities. I suppose some of them stopped using TCPP soon and configured TC according to their needs and... that's good. TCPP was only a start point for their using of TC.

But that all was already disscussed on this forum so there is no sense to repeat this :-) Let people choose what they like, it's good if they use TC (in any form) ;-)

I am not against packs in general, I have discussed that several times in the past, but I am against PACKS LIKE THAT:
- binary packaged and not extractable, this is against all habits in TC community
- high risk of virus infection because done by an unknown forum user, I would not even think about starting it
- outdated and problematic plugins
I was suprised how many people put their positive comments about TCPowerPack on the forum and in download section.
Surprised, why? People like suites because most of them are lazy and have no clue, this is why Symantec is so successfull with their crap and IT supporters can tell funny stories about people using their CDROM tray as a cup holder.

The problem is that "we" – the supporters – will have to deal with problems arising from these packs because Mr. "tmpack" is for sure not here to assist them with deleted wincmd.inis, conflicting plugins, etc...
