Lister bug - RTF view

This bug is easily reproducible:

1) view any RTF file with Lister (Lister window is not maximized);
2) press "1" to switch to "Text only" mode;
3) press "4" to switch back to "Image/Multimedia" mode (the mode in which RTF is shown);
4) maximize Lister window.

It will show RTF text in a box sized as previous window size and "Text only" chars in the remaining area of the window.

I can't reproduce that here with TC 7.03, neither with the built-in Lister, nor with the standalone one.

• I can't reproduce it either following your steps.
- It works as it should even in TC 6.58 (standalone and built-in Lister).

BTW I can't confirm this with

Thanks for clarifying... that made me notice it is really related to a plugin instead of Lister itself. It's not gsalister, but hpg_ed. But the behavior is the same as HolgerK pointed when posted:

Using tips from that topic, I've added the following line to my [ListerPlugins] section of wincmd.ini:

0_detect=EXT!="RTF"

and it solved the problem...

I'm not sure that this is a plugin bug.
There is a difference when "Lister->Options->Configuration->Multimedia [ ] RTF" is unchecked.

1. <F3> with an RFT=>Lister shows gsalister in title bar and the lister window is definitively drawn by gsalister

2. Press <4> => the title bar shows gsalister, but the window is drawn by TC's internal RTF control.

3. enlarge the lister window => the RTF control keeps its size, but content renderer by the gsalister becomes visible at right and lower border.

If the lister says (title bar!) that gsalister is in use, so why is the internal RTF control drawn over the plugin lister window?

• Well, anyway it's a bug caused by that plugin since without it, we can't reproduce the bug.
- Either the original strings given by the plugin, or the way in which TC saves them in the INI
is the point that still needs clarifying.
- It should be interesting to see what occurs when the plugin is installed via TC Plugman, instead of the built-in TC feature…
