So what?
This should be removed or fixed to work properly.

p.s.
OGG files should not be shown anyway

It does work as intended. It's a very old function which has been there long before there were Lister plugins, which were added only in 2002.

Hm... So, please, if you don't want to fix this, just make it switchable and that will be a solution. I will disable it in config and both of us will be happy.

I will consider it. Unfortunately your suggestion comes too late for TC 8.01, but maybe in a later version.

Is there any news on this, maybe for TC 9?

I'm currently writing a lister interface for Android APK files (which are renamed zip files).
But because most APK files contain .txt files that behavior bugs me
and makes QuickView basically useless for such plugin.

I guess it wouldn't be that difficult to add a simple Ini option for this.

BTW, it concerns nearly all files that are just renamed zip with embedded .txt, like .jar files.
Also, as I just found out, it is (partially) responsible for the trouble with some .epub files in slister and QuickView.

Yes, it's on my to do list, another user has suggested this via e-mail too.

Edit: I have just added it. :)
