Articles, press releases, tests ... about Total Commander

Post by *gbo »

I am just curious, someone knows if there are press releases or articles about Total Commander online (english french or german / old or recent).
I have quickly try googling and search forum but without success (except http://nnmag.net/NoName26/dane/129.html which is double Dutch for me :?)

TIA

Hi,

it's not really a press release but here is a file manager test in pdf format (German): http://www.speedproject.de/ (below "Aktuelles")

It has been discussed in the German forum:

Thanks Lefteous for the article.

Here is another interview translated from Russian (with babel.altavista -> pretty funny translation  )

That totally stupid article abot FM comparison... They are happy because all of that we have as plugins (except powerful html editor and WYSIWYG) they've integrated in their FM. That made it FAT, and all that may be not needed for non-programmers.
They told they are supporting TC wfx - hahaha, NOT all of them supported! Frigate tries to grab each and every plugin from some folder, while TC gives advantage of registering the plugins - not registered => not used, but still can be in the folder.
Finally, consider the number of plugins for TC and for Frigate.

Another german artcle I found accidentially can be found here (german)
or here (babelfished to english)

The german "Stern" magazine is quite a yellowpress kind of paper. The review (if it may so be called  ) is very positive though.

Cheese bugs ???

:) Hello !

• Thanks for the link… Of course, the BabelFish “translation” is a disaster, as usual

• Besides, the link to the full capture is dead, I get a page "Not found" :|

• However, there is a nice photo, and now, I understand !
- For a long while, I had a suspicion already about bugs caused by some melted cheese falling in a keyboard …
• But now, I'm sure ! It's true !

Hi Clo,

Yes, fun as always! I especially like 'totally COMM other'. what a pleasingly absurd translation of 'Total Commander'!

Don't worry about the screenshot, the 'maximiezd' version is about 5% bigger than the thumb on the page :) so you don't miss anything...

Well, first I thought the photo could be Christian himself, but actually it's just the author of that article...

Someone has already seen a photo of Christian? now that we know he is around 35 years old and that he has studied Physics, Math and Computer Science we can try to get more info. :)

Hope I will not get an harassment suit

We are a bit offtopic here, but it is just that I like to know the face to the people I am "talking to" (avatar is not my cup of tea).
