You can press (Shift-)F5/F6 multiple times to sequently mark parts of the target name.
I often need to change the extensions, so it would be very nice to add "mark extension only", preferrably ordered after "file name only".
This would be like this:
With F5/F6:
the complete path
name only
extension only
name + extension
With Shift-F5/F6:
name + extension
name only
extension only

Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately (if I didn't miss something) there is neither a solution or statement that it will not be implemented.
