[REQ] Marking only file extension

Post by *StatusQuo »

You can press (Shift-)F5/F6 multiple times to sequently mark parts of the target name.

I often need to change the extensions, so it would be very nice to add "mark extension only", preferrably ordered after "file name only".
This would be like this:

With F5/F6:
  • the complete path
  • name only
  • extension only
  • name + extension
With Shift-F5/F6:
  • name + extension
  • name only
  • extension only

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Thanks for the hint. Unfortunately (if I didn't miss something) there is neither a solution or statement that it will not be implemented.
I will try my luck in this thread then... :)

Maybe this thread here can be deleted?

The simplest things need three or more threads, 2 or more years, 5-6 beta versions. Not particularly in this order
