I keep typing things like
\\foohost\c$
in TC's command line, without the initial "cd ", like you can in the Start->Run box. It would be great if this worked.
The fact that the above example is a share UNC is largely irrelevant, that's just what I usually try to use this nonexistant feature for. It should work for any folder. Actually, it might be harder to detect whether a UNC is a folder or file, in which case, I would be happy to put "\" on the end to help TC out.

Just " \\foohost\c$" on the command line isn't a valid command !
In the matter of fact it is the default action of your Windows command shell to interpret it as a folder, opened logically with explorer.
If you want TC to change to this folder, simply tell him to do : Enter it in its header line ...
