No override for default TC icons in Internal associations

Post by *DarkRuleR »

Hi!

You can change the icon for most of the files with Internal associations:

Code: Select all

[Associations]
Filter1=*.<extention>
Filter1.icon=<icon path><icon file>,<icon number>
Except for archive extentions and files with the hidden / system attribute.

I wish you could turn this behavior off.

I find it very annoying that such great and flexible mechanism like internal associations is limited this way.

I have been assigning the default file icon to all of my internal associations, which works but if it can be disabled it would be better.

A number of different threads discuss this to various degrees. But I'll pipe in on this one too.
