hi!

the internal rar packer seems to have a problems with more recent rar files (like version 3.9).

what version of rar is supported?
can the implementation be updated?

TC 7.50a's version of unrar.dll is v. 3.90.1.125 - the current unrar.dll on www.win-rar.com is v. 3.90.100.227

You should be able to replace TC's unrar.dll with the latest one, unless the authors of winrar has made changes to the parameters.

If it doesn't work, just put the original unrar.dll back in TC's program folder again.

the unrar.dll in my totalcmd installation was 3.80.100.259 (possilby came with total commander 7.50).

I replaced the dll with 3.90.100.227, it seems to work properly.

but some rar files still show an empty directory when opened. this happens with certain password protected archives.
UnRar.exe identifies these files, asks for the password and upacks correctly.
