HTML View doesn't work with Office 2007

Post by *robinsiebler »

HTML View worked just fine for viewing RTF files when I had Office 2003 installed. However, I reluctantly upgraded to 2007 and now HTML View does not work. Instead, when I press F3, Word 2007 opens in the background with the document open. Lister opens on top with a page that reads 'Navigation Canceled'.

HTML View relies on Internet Explorer and its plugins to display files. You need to configure Internet Explorer so it displays Word documents within the browser - currently it's apparently configured to open them in Word.

The workaround doesn't work for Office 2007. The Browser flags must be different.
