Can't you just rename the file and give it a .ZIP extension?

If there is no program associated with ext XYZ, Total Commander does this already. If there is a program associated with that extension, you have to press CTRL+PageDown (make sure you have the option "Treat archives like directories" selected).

:D Hi!
(even EXE)
:( Sorry, not all! In example, you can't open SFX archives by InstallShield®, and some others... Even some *.CAB, for which you get too the error message "(file) ...xxx.yyy isn't a valid archive file" or so...
8) But no problem whether the format is really ZIP or pkZIP...
:) Best regards,
friendly,
Clo

The internal packer seems to not support passwords. When you do a search here on "zip" and "password", you will find some interesting posts on this. Even a download of a DLL file which you can use which does support passwords (which will fix your problem).
