i did that: text scrolled to found str, then 2 lines above.(Dont like when it 's at the middle)

Ok. TC Lister do it the same way, but 3 lines are above.
If next found word is on same page, then it's better to only move search mark and not scroll page. In this case I find page scrolling a bit irritating

i did it,but when str is at the bottom (last line on screen), str scrolled to center.

Maybe you can also fix issue with find next / find previous:
After searching forwards user have to press 2 times on "find previous" to jump to previous word.

Another wish: Can you make option "close by ESC" saved separately for plugin/app?

My problem: Since Syn has tabs I have many files open. Sometimes I press ESC to close only last document and Syn closes all my files. I did it unintentionally because I have ever used ESC to close a file before.
But for plugin mode I want to use ESC like for all other TC plugins. Plugin mode is only used for viewing single files here.

Maybe you can add possibility to assign shortcut for close program. So I can use Alt+X for exit.

Hi,

Can the SynWrite support Auto-detecting UTF-8-encoded files?

just like the new feature in TC7.56:

"04.11.10 Added: Lister, Compare by Content: Auto-detect UTF-8-encoded files by checking the presence of only valid multi-byte sequences (first byte determines length of sequence)"

You can contact me by e-mail if you need some sample code. TC Lister now looks for
- headers in html, xml and css which refer to UTF-8
if none is found:
- checks the first 128k of data whether the characters >127 are all valid UTF-8 sequences

If one window was opened with F3, how to open another file in a new tab instead of a new window when pressing F3 again?

It not possible (currently). F4 must be used. when presin F4 you can open in a new tab ("Allow single instance" opt.)
