Files without extension: setting colour problem!

I know the normal colour-order like you can see above, since I work with HTML for a while. I'll test the Red / Blue inversion.
Maybe this inversion-handling could be done by TC automatically -
as far as it'ld be possible that TC writes hexa codes here? -
Like Aezay says (thanks!), it's an (antic) Intel feature, I rather call this a stupid bad joke!
I'ld plan to purchase a Mac, but only if Ch. Ghisler writes a Commander for Mac OSs!
¤ The background combination effect is real in some Delphi™ softs, so I'll verify and tell you later.

The Red / Blue inversion works quite fine! The background-effect doesn't act here (a good friend of mine should be interested to know the trick!).
Last "flat" { Erniedrigungzeichen }(like for music, it's a French expression for "restriction" or "light inconvenience") : The virtual folders of the Configuration Pannel are shown as ordinary no-ext. files - they even get the icon of the file type!- Isn't really very annoying…
What an endless subject!
The last question is: how TC could add the missing instructions that you gave me for [ Searches ] ? Or else, was this leak caused by me?
After so much efforts, a good lunch is indispensable, bon appétit!

Well, entering hex values is not documented in any way. The normal way is using the gui for color filters. This will write decimal values to the ini file automatically, which has never caused any trouble.

Following the needs of this complex colouration (especially whether enhanced to an extra-sorting of no-ext. files...), I imagined a setting for it:

I have never claimed manually writing a decimal value to the INI file works fine. All I wrote is choosing a color in the gui will never cause any trouble.

Color filters are colors assigned to a search filter. That's all you have to know.

It doesn't matter. The files without extension is just one filter of many.

- I just attempted to show you how it's difficult and confusing for new / "median" users in the practice, playing a bit their part...

• Browsing the successive replies shows well that I'd a problem to set this colour (!) ... but nothing was faulty from you. Only the basic method didn't work in my PC.
