Command line is hide with

[Layout]
CmdLine=0

Command line should appear with pressing arrow right key. Command line appears only with an additional key e.g. alphabetic character key.

Confirmed, thanks! What you can do is press Shift+Right arrow, then start typing your command to make the command line visible. I will try to find a workaround.

Btw, it's annoyances like this why it took over a year to port from Delphi to Lazarus/Free Pascal...

A little bit off topic: Is the x86 Version of TC8.0 still compiled using Delphi?
I can confirm the bug with x64 but not with the x86 TC8.0 version.

Currently not, Delphi 2 still creates the smaller and faster code.
