Thanks for your replies.
I got column selection working. Thanks!
Inherit search value from TC is partial working!
1) open "Find files"
2) Search for a string in some files
3) open a file in the result list by pressing F3
4) press F3 to jump to the string you searched for
5) close the file
6) Change the search string to something else
7) open another or same file as before in the list by pressing F3
8 ) Press F3 to jump to the string you searched for
The search string in step 8 is the same as from the first search done i step 2!
Am I wrong or do you see the same behaviour?
I use TC 7.56a

yes I have read the help, but it still doesn't work
If you would please just try the steps I wrote before to see if I'm wrong.
Do not close the "Find files" dialogue. Keep it open, search for 2 different string in 2 steps. The second time when you open a found file by pressing F3 the search string is the same as from the first search.

I've been using a SynWrite 3.1.620 think it was very good.
Now I want to change the lexer highlighting colors, but open the "customize lexer highlighting", you can only change the highlight color of the current lexer. And if that is not predefined colors, but custom colors will become a color with rgb value 0x010101, always can not change.
I wish Syn able to correct this bug. In addition, if you can provide a unified lexer highlighting style to all lexer, you do not need to change the highlight of a variety of languages set.

@Alextp: I just upgraded from 2.5.838 to 3.1.620 and noticed that the option "Show messagebox for empty search result" is gone. I didn't find anything about that in the history.txt. What did I miss? Why has this option been removed? Please note that this makes it difficult to see if anything has been found if the search doesn't show any results. Now it only says "string not found" in the status bar for about 5 seconds. IMHO this is not enough.

Thanks!Alextp wrote:I 'll return this opt (Show msgbox for no results). No problem.
I've just found another bug or rather a scaling problem in the search dialog when using large fonts. See this picture (Note: this screenshot was made on a Win2k machine). All other dialogs I checked are fine, though I haven't checked them all

Alt F7 with Find Text
Hi There,
That it be possible to search by default in SynWrite the word(s) typed on the TC "Find Text" field when opening (viewing With F3) a file on the TC list result?
