Not confirmed. Can you tell me what settings to use and what I need to do to reproduce it, please?

I don't use any extra config.
My action was simple: 1. [f5] (copy a big file (23GiB) from D: to E: - diffrent HDD's) -> 2. [ok] -> 3. [background].
Verify copy was not used.

Probably it was caused by copying file with huge NTFS al.stream: http://s23.postimg.org/4zergk0h7/Untitled.png

Ah, I see - the progress dialog is only updated while copying stream Nr. 1 (the data stream). But how do you get the dialog with just a dash instead of the copied size?

1) Copy small file with big alternate stream to some placeBut how do you get the dialog with just a dash instead of the copied size
2) Click 'Background' - here the dash is displayed: http://s24.postimg.org/nm1bn5aqt/Untitled.png
BTW, try to close BG copy dialog -> 'User abort' dialog appears -> click 'OK' -> copying is not aborted

I see - so I guess that in this special case, the dash is correct because no actual file data has been copied.

No NTFS streams used, no extra fuctions, no extensions...
Just the default TC's copying/moving file from one hdd to another.

Sorry, cannot confirm. But I have worked quite a bit on this for the next beta, so please re-test it when it comes out later this week.
