-[8.50b9] Unclear question on deleting file from ignore list

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

-[8.50b9] Unclear question on deleting file from ignore list

Post by *MVV »

When you delete folder with ignored files TC shows a message:
Now TC wrote:File X:\Path\File.ext has either the attribute HIDDEN or SYSTEM!
Delete anyway?

Ignore list = hidden!
I think it is very unclear and it would be much better to see something like this:
Wish TC to wrote:File X:\Path\File.ext is hidden by ignore list!
Delete anyway?
This message doesn't contain baffling information about file attributes and describes the reason much better.

You are right, but unfortunately it's too late - I have already contacted all translators many weeks ago, and I'm still waiting for a lot of translations. I don't want to postpone TC 8.5 to next year. Maybe in a later version.
