Yes, I'm back with my request.
I still feel that TC having its own personal icon lib to display default icons for exe, documents or folder is the wrong way to do it.
Instead it should give us the choice - an option to recreate its icon cache with the default window's icons at that moment.
Find out what's the icon used for the folder, copy that icon in the icon cache, do that for the other icons... that would make so much more sense.
I'm sure I'm not the only one wishing that would happen! Please back me up on this one.

What is a system-specific icon for a folder? It can be directory-specific (this can be shown by setting those attributes) or it can be the systemwide default icon (for a folder).If you select read-only or hidden or system for a folder then TC retrieves the system-specific icon for that folder.
