Deleting more than 99,999 files

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Confirmed.
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

Yes, it's a known problem - the space is shared with the number of bytes (used e.g. when copying). Unfortunately it's not possible to resize dynamically, sorry.

I think this is very unimportant issue :-) Unlikely deleting >99999 files is everyday task.

Same issue spotted here. This is a low priority bug but to my opinion it should be fixed. Some users DO delete large amounts of files on a regular basis and this information should be correctly displayed on both foreground and background dialogs.

By the way, my advice on "...Unfortunately it's not possible to resize dynamically..." is: please give it to someone junior, who does not know it is impossible. They will fix it!
